The list below was a great test of imagination.
We tried to imagine songs that aren't considered "Metal" but that have some elements that easily bring them closer to our beloved genre.
Whether it's the lyrics, the riffs, the composition full of tempo variations, the energy, the dissonant and dark tone, their epic nature, or the overall theme, these masterpieces could easily belong to the discography of Iron Maiden , Judas Priest, Metallica , and so on.
We at Wikimetal know that there are some songs that, when we listen to them, instinctively connect us to the world of Metal for one of the reasons listed above.
We remembered several songs that didn't make our list. Really great songs like Stone Cold Crazy (Queen), Born To Be Wild (Steppenwolf), Friend Of The Devil (Grateful Dead), Come Together and I Want You (She's So Heavy) (The Beatles), Breaking All The Rules (Peter Frampton), among others.
We invite our WikiBrothers to do this exercise as well. Check out our list and leave in the comments other songs that aren't Metal, but should be:
