The best Metal Mascots

The world of heavy metal is so rich and vast that it has allowed many bands to create mascots that represent their bands, in some cases as well as their own members or their greatest songs.

The connection is automatic: You see Eddie and you think of Iron Maiden. But besides Eddie, who is possibly the mascot of mascots, there are several bands that have created their own friendly symbols that often appear on album covers, t-shirts, and various other places.

To celebrate the mascots created by Metal bands, this week we've listed some of them. And of course, we haven't forgotten other mascots that didn't make the list, such as Fangface from Gamma Ray, The Guy from Disturbed, Hector from Hammerfall, Alister Fiend from Mötley Crüe, Captain Adrian from Running Wild, and many more!

Listen to the songs in the playlist at the end of this post (sync it with your mobile device to listen wherever you want) and watch the videos of the bands that created the best mascots in history, according to Wikimetal's Top 11!
