We all know it's humanly impossible to choose just 11 guitar riffs for this list. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of songs will be missing, so we're counting on the WikiBrohters to leave other songs that didn't make the cut in the comments.
Whether it's bands and guitarists not even mentioned on our list, such as Jimi Hendrix's wonderful riffs in Sunshine Of Your Love , Voodoo Child , and Purple Haze , or bands that made the list but have so many songs that it's very difficult to choose just one!
For Iron Maiden, for example, we chose The Trooper , but it could easily be Phantom Of The Opera , The Number Of The Beast , or 2 Minutes To Midnight . For Metallica, it could be Master Of Puppets , Enter Sandman , Ride The Lightning , or many others.
In Led Zeppelin, Heartbreaker , Moby Dick , and many more: Thankfully, there's no shortage of legendary songs in our favorite genre, and that's why this week we're celebrating 11 songs with immortal riffs!!!
Listen to the songs in the playlist at the end of this post (sync it to your mobile device to listen wherever you want) and watch the videos of the best guitar riffs, according to Wikimetal's Top 11!
And most importantly: Leave in the comments other songs that should be in this Top 11:
