This new version of the song is part of the new Super Deluxe Edition of the White Album.

An acoustic version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," from the Super Deluxe edition of The Beatles' White Album, has been revealed, featuring George Harrison on acoustic guitar and Paul McCartney on harmonium.

The track was recorded on July 25, 1968, and is not completely finished. It's a meditative sketch while McCartney learns the melody. You can also hear Harrison saying to the Abbey Road crew, "Maybe you should give him his own microphone.".

The Beatles' White Album Super Deluxe Edition will be released on November 9th.
