The first images from the highly anticipated biopic of The Beatles .
The film's official Instagram account , in collaboration with each Beatle's profile, released images of the actors in character: Harris Dickinson as John Lennon , Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney , Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr , and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison .
The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be a four-film production, each film focusing on a different member of the band, with a planned release in April 2028. The project also has the official approval and musical rights of the Beatles.
During a presentation at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas, director Sam Mendes stated that the production will be the "first cinematic experience that can be marathon-watched" [via g1 ].
“We’re not just making one film about the Beatles — we’re making four. Maybe this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply,” said Sam Mendes.
