The Beatles announce new special edition of 'Let It Be'

Beatles album Let It Be has been announced. Originally released in May 1970, the album features songs such as “Get Back”, “The Long and Winding Road” and “For You Blue”.

The new version of Let It Be will be released on October 15th in a special edition with various formats. The album was remixed by Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell in 5.1 surround DTS and Dolby Atmos sound.

Let It Be will be released digitally and physically, the latter with 5 CDs and a Blu-ray with 5 CDs in the deluxe version, and 4 LPs and a 12” disc in the super deluxe version, which will also include a hardcover book titled The Beatles: Get Back , with a foreword by Paul McCartney . All formats are already available for pre-order.

To announce the new release, a 2021 Stereo Mix version of "Let It Be" was released, along with a live version of the first rooftop performance of "Don't Let Me Down" and the LP Mix of "For You Blue".
