The Beatles: new documentary explores the band's relationship with India.

'The Beatles and India' features a special soundtrack created by contemporary Indian artists.

A new Beatles will arrive in the UK in June of this year – with no release date yet set for Brazil. The documentary will tell the story of the British band's relationship with India.

The Beatles and India was directed by Pete Compton alongside author Ajoy Bose , and will feature rare archival footage of the band. In addition, it will also include testimonies from people who were with the musicians at the time.

The premiere will take place at the UK Asian Film Festival John Lennon and was composed by Nikhil D'Souza . Listen below.

The Beatles and India: Songs Inspired by the Film will be a compilation of covers of the band's songs performed by contemporary Indian artists, including "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "Across the Universe," which are among the Beatles' most famous songs with Indian influence.
