The Beatles "Now And Then" last Thursday, May 2nd , which is considered the band's last song. This Friday, May 3rd, a music video for the song, directed by Peter Jackson .
The video features never-before-seen footage of the Beatles. The director commented on “Now And Then” ( via Loudwire ): “To be honest, while we hope we’ve given the Beatles a proper final send-off, that’s something you’ll have to decide for yourselves when it’s finally released. Having come to an end, I’m very happy that I’m not waiting for someone else to release a video for ‘Now and Then.’ I’m genuinely proud of what we’ve done and will cherish it for years to come.”
Peter Jackson had previously worked with the Beatles on the 2021 The Beatles: Get Back mini-documentary about the group's last song.
