Get Back Beatles documentary directed by Peter Jackson (of The Lord of the Rings fame ), will arrive on Disney+ in November, which will show it in three parts on the 25th, 26th, and 27th, according to Vanity Fair.
The film's premiere was delayed last year due to the pandemic and is now available to fans via the Disney platform. Jackson worked with 55 hours of never-before-seen footage and 140 hours of audio recorded in 1969 during the sessions for the band's final studio album, Let It Be . The final documentary will be six hours long.
“After reviewing all the footage and audio that Michael Lindsay-Hogg recorded 18 months before they parted ways, it’s simply an incredible historical treasure. Sure, there are moments of drama – but none of the discord this project has long been associated with. Watching John , Paul , George and Ringo working together, creating classic songs from scratch, is not only fascinating – it’s funny, uplifting and surprisingly intimate,” says Peter Jackson.
