The box set will include demos and unreleased mixes from the classic album

Fifty years ago, The Beatles crossed the street in front of EMI Studios on Abbey Road and made history. Now, to celebrate this milestone, the record label will release a massive box set of the 1969 classic.

Producer Giles Martin and sound engineer Sam Okell sought out the original recordings of the album to work on a new high-resolution mix. The new release will be launched on September 27th and will feature all 23 sessions from the legendary band, plus previously unreleased demos. Click here to pre -order your copy.

“The magic comes from the Beatles’ hands playing the instruments, the blending of their voices, and the beauty of their arrangements,” Martin said in a statement about the release. “Our goal is to have the cleanest, freshest sound, just like the day it was recorded.”

The box set will include 40 tracks divided across three CDs and a Blu-ray, a 100-page book with special Beatles material, and a foreword by Paul McCartney. The edition will also come with the songs on three 180-gram LPs and a double CD with demos and different mixes.

In addition to all that, the album will include bonus tracks with versions of "The Long One" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". The full tracklist can be found below in the announcement video.
