The Beatflux released their third single, “Wet”, via The Secret Warehouse of Sound , which comes with a music video.
The single blends the intensity of punk-rock with the more aggressive side of grunge, and its energy is enhanced by the video, which features drummer Ale Iafelice playing drums atop a skyscraper on a hot afternoon in São Paulo, contrasting with the song's title, which means "wet" in English.
“With COVID and the unfortunate situation we are living in at the moment, I try to see the challenges as an opportunity to think outside the box. I always thought this was the drummer's music. The music I want a 12-year-old boy to watch and say to himself; 'I want to be a drummer',” says the band's creator, Muca London Calling program on Radio 89FM.
Ale, in turn, adds a surprising fact about the recording: "Since there were so many buildings nearby and we filmed the video on a Sunday afternoon, I thought we would annoy the neighbors, but in the end everyone was clapping."
