The Apartment Cats compare Brazilian voters to a "Pendulum" in their new song; listen.

A rock band from São Paulo delivers an energetic analysis of the current polarized landscape.

The Apartment Cats aims to provoke reflection in listeners by blending rock music with an analysis of the Brazilian electoral landscape in their latest single, "Pêndulo," discovered by Groover from Wikimetal .

Formed in 2019, the São Paulo-based band cites Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam as major influences, but took a risk with a different sound in "Pêndulo," an energetic and critical track inspired by the heated disputes during election season, an increasingly polarized reality in Brazil.

“While we wait for a savior of the nation every four years, it’s as if we live on a pendulum, being tossed from one side to the other, victims of an avalanche of fake news, suffering the same old pains, and we continue 'walking sideways' as a nation. And that’s how Brazil elected this abominable figure we have as president today,” comments vocalist Fábio Pelissioni .
