Billboard says it will be a supergroup

Billboard reported today that the countdown released by Rage Against The Machine is not for a band reunion. Citing sources close to the band, the magazine says that a supergroup is expected to be announced on March 31st.

According to Billboard, the group is expected to consist of Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk from Rage the Movie, Chuck D from Public Enemy, and B-Real from Cypress Hill. The band, named Prophets of Rage, will play songs from all three groups.

The band's first live performance will be on June 3rd, according to Billboard.
