Alissa White-Gluz talks about her new phase

Arch Enemy's newly announced , Alissa White-Gluz, stated yesterday that she would have preferred not to leave her former band, The Agonist. The singer says she's happy to have been called up by Angela Gossow's band, but says she would have liked to continue with both projects.

“I am happy and honored to announce this new chapter in my life. I am joining my favorite band, the world-renowned Arch Enemy. But it is with great sadness that I must announce that The Agonist is now a thing of the past. I had every intention of (and had even begun to) write a great album, but my bandmates decided to go in a different direction. I would like to change this situation, but this decision is beyond my control and I can only wish them luck.”.
