From the very beginnings of Heavy Metal, Brazilian heavy music has always been a source of pride. And we've already talked a lot about the great legendary Brazilian bands, many of which continue to surprise us to this day.
But this week the focus is different. We're going to list the new bands that are emerging in our scene! It was even difficult to compile a list with only 11 bands, and it breaks our heart to leave so many talented people out, but who knows, maybe one day we'll do a "part II" list like this?
While we wait for that list, check out our selection of favorite Brazilian bands, all of which emerged after the year 2000. Feel free to leave a comment with bands that shouldn't have been left out!
