Testament 's first two albums are being released on CD in Brazil. The albums The Legacy and The New Order , which introduced one of the great names in thrash metal to the world, are available in major stores in a national edition.
Released in the late 1980s, before the popularization of CDs, the two albums had never been officially released in Brazil, being available only in imported editions, which were more expensive and harder to find. Now, fans and collectors will be able to acquire the albums, which are still considered the band's best and most classic. The release is also in a special format, accompanied by a slipcase .
Both albums were recorded by the same band lineup, led by vocalist Chuck Billy and produced by Alex Perialas.
The release is an initiative of Wikimetal with Oporto da Música, which continues to bring to the Brazilian market monthly various titles that were no longer available, and even some that had never been released in the country. The new titles join several albums already released through the partnership, from bands such as Van Halen, Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, Metal Church, Overkill , among many others.
