"The Brotherhood Of The Snake" will be released in the second half of the year
In an interview with Metal Forces, Testament guitarist Eric Peterson spoke about the sound of the band's upcoming album, "The Brotherhood Of The Snake":
Slayer, Testament and Carcass help baby snakes.
“We’ve gone back to our roots, and speaking of recording and songwriting, I think we’re as crazy and as strong as we’ve ever been, especially with this album. ‘The Brotherhood Of The Snake’ is going to be… I’m trying to find a term to describe it, but it doesn’t sound like that, so don’t take it out of context; it will be our Reign In Blood because it’s super brutal but it’s melodic.”.
Peterson says the album will feature some of the fastest parts the band has ever recorded. Testament's new album is expected to be released in September or October.
