Former bassist returns
Testament announced yesterday that bassist Greg Christian has left the band, and that former bassist Steve will take his place. The statement was made on the band's official website.
“It is with great respect that we announce our mutual decision to part ways with our bassist Greg Christian. Bass pioneer Steve Di Giorgio will return to Testament. Steve was previously a member of the band, participating in the albums “The Gathering” (1999) and “First Strike Still Deadly” (2001). He will join Testament for their upcoming shows in Australia, at the Soundwave festival, in Japan, and in Mexico City. Steve will also be a part of Testament's new album.”

In November, Christian was left out of the American tour with Lamb Of God for personal reasons. Exodus bassist Jack Gibson played in his place on that occasion.
Christian has already posted on his Facebook that he is at home with his family and that he intends to announce a new Metal project soon. According to the bassist, the official announcement will only come when "the vocals are ready" .
