The British prog/djent metal band, TesseracT , will be in São Paulo next month for two shows on their world tour promoting the album War of Being , released in 2023.
The shows will take place on September 14th at Carioca Club Pinheiros, and on September 15th at Fabrique Club. According to information from the tour organizer, Liberation Tour Booking, the second date promises to be more intimate and will feature a performance of the EP Concealing Fate in its entirety.
Before arriving in Brazil, the band will perform in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico, marking their second tour of Latin America since last year.

TesseracT and War of Being
Formed in 2003 by guitarist Alec “Acle” Kahney in Milton Keynes, England, TesseracT only truly debuted in 2010 with the EP Concealing Fate . Today, the band is respected and revered worldwide with a discography that includes five studio albums, two live albums, and three EPs.
The band's fifth studio album, War of Being , released in 2023, marked the end of a five-year period without new material. Their last release had been the live album PORTALS in 2021, featuring hits from throughout the band's career, but without any new material.
Considered by fans as one of the group's best works, War of Being also pleased specialized critics. Some reviews of the album highlighted the band's ability to remain creative, with particular emphasis on the founder and leader of the band, Acle Kahney, considered one of the main figures responsible for the popularization of "djent metal" from the 2010s onwards.
