Last Saturday, the 10th, Jack Black shared a new video on his YouTube channel. Besides showing moments from the Tenacious D , the video revealed a fateful collaboration with Jack White .
Jack Black explains that he and Kyle Gass had started working on a song, but it wasn't finished. "I think that's where Jack White comes in and carries us to the finish line. This is a legendary partnership. OD and Jack White. Everyone's been waiting for this, and the moment has arrived," he said.
The duo visited Third Man Records, the label of the former White Stripes member, and then went to White's house. There, they recorded the mysterious new single, since the cameras were not allowed to film the interior of the house.
When filming resumes after the studio work, the actor exclaims, "I wish we had managed to film it, because it was magical."
