Following the release of their second and most recent album, DEATHinitive Love AtmosFEAR , the Brazilian symphonic black/death metal band, Tellus Terror , released the music video for their fourth single, “Lone Sky Universum”.
“This song has energy, but it presents a drawn-out and melancholic sound that mixes gothic metal with doom metal, contrasting beauty and sadness due to its theme. It's meant to be listened to in a dark room on a cold winter day, while enjoying fine glasses of good wine,” commented Felipe Borges , vocalist, lyricist, and audiovisual producer of the band.
The main theme uses metaphors and poetic imagery to portray a relationship between two people in their 60s and 70s, and their lessons learned from past loves. The narrative shows the search for true and lasting love, emphasizing the importance of learning from previous relationships and making the new relationship last.
“We address openness to love and the frustration of finding people who don't reciprocate that emotional intensity. There's a dialogue between a man and a woman, where the man advises the woman not to trust only her heart, but also to observe and discern who truly deserves her love,” Felipe explained.
