The city of Tel Aviv, in Israel, held its first major music event since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic last Thursday, the 21st.
According to the Times of Israel , the show, which aimed to raise funds for artists in need, was held in Charles Clore Park and had a maximum capacity of 5,000 people, although Billboard claims that only 3,000 actually attended the event.
Despite being a police-approved event that promoted social distancing and hygiene rules expected for any post-pandemic event, many people did not seem to follow the guidelines, putting everyone present at risk.
In different parts of the world, the return to normal life is at various stages, as was the case with the state of Arkansas hosting the first concert in the United States during the pandemic . However, much will need to be done and reinforced for events like this to take place safely for everyone.
