In a recent interview with FM99 WNOR , vocalist Taylor Momsen The Pretty Reckless ' latest album , Death By Rock And Roll – including the filming of the music video for " Only Love Can Save Me Now " with Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil of Soundgarden .

Taylor and host Nikki discussed the current pandemic situation and how many artists used the quarantine period to release self-published books. When asked if she planned to do the same, Momsen responded positively.

“It’s something I’ve been working on, actually,” the singer revealed. “Not seriously, but I’d certainly like to [release a book] at some point; not now, but later on… I have a habit of writing down stories and things that happened because I’d like to put them in an autobiography someday – because there’s a lot you don’t know [laughs]. I keep a diary with things I’d like to put [in the book], but I haven’t officially taken the first step yet.”

About to turn 28, Taylor Momsen definitely has stories to tell. The singer began her career as an actress when she was still a child and only dedicated herself to music at age 16, when she took over the vocals for The Pretty Reckless. Older audiences may recognize her for her role as Cindy Lou Who in the Christmas movie How the Grinch Stole , starring Jim Carrey , while younger generations may be more familiar with her work on Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey – who is mentioned in some of her songs, such as the title track “Death By Rock And Roll”.

The album Death By Rock And Roll was mentioned in episode #326 of the Wikimetal as one of the best releases of 2021 so far. Listen here.
