The Foo Fighters have been engaged in an amusing feud with former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher .
This time it was Taylor Hawkins , drummer for the Foo Fighters, who got involved in the conflict. Hawkins printed Gallagher's face on the bass drum of his drum kit during the band's show on the second day of Rock in Rio.
The feud began last month at the Reading Festival in England. The Foo Fighters put up photos of the Gallagher brothers, arguing that they were trying to reunite Oasis and that they would start a petition to do so .
In response, the following week, during a show in San Diego, Noel Gallagher said he would start a petition to get the Foo Fighters to break up .
In 2017, Noel Gallagher had already said that Green Day and Foo Fighters make boring music .
Yesterday's Foo Fighters show was also notable for its tribute to Queen:
Taylor Hawkins led the audience in singing "Love Of My Life." Following that, the drummer impersonated Freddie Mercury in his traditional interaction with the audience.
Finally, the Foo Fighters performed a cover of "Under Pressure" with Dave Grohl on drums and Taylor Hawkins on vocals.
