Taylor Hawkins Foo Fighters drummer who passed away in 2022 due to an overdose, founded a band to play covers of classic rock songs, called Chevy Metal , in 2013. The original lineup of the group also included Dave Grohl on vocals, Mick Murphy on guitar, and Wiley Hodgen on bass.

Honoring his father's legacy, Shane Hawkins will take up the drums during the band's summer tour, starting in July. In addition to the young prodigy, the current Chevy Metal lineup features Wiley Hodgen and Mick Murphy reprising their roles from the original band.

Josh Freese lists the “10 possible reasons” that led to him being “kicked out” of the Foo Fighters.

Shortly after his sudden dismissal from the Foo Fighters last Friday, the 16th, drummer Josh Freese shared on his social media a list, in a rather ironic tone, of 10 possible reasons that motivated his dismissal from the band.

The idea for the post came from the lack of justification from his former colleagues regarding the real reason for his departure. After all, it happened through a phone call from the group, which, to date, has not officially commented on the matter.

Check out the list shared by Josh Freese on his Instagram:

10) I once whistled “My Hero” for an entire week on tour.
Fugazi
song. 8) Two words: polyrhythms.
7) Metronome precision on drums considered “soulless.”
6) I demanded to start every rehearsal with a 20-minute shower to the sound of cowbells.
5) I never tried to grow a beard.
4) I didn't go to the studio because Mercury was in retrograde.
3) I promised Noodles he could be the 4th guitarist.
2) I refused to play unless I received a Ouija board and nunchaku after every show.
1) The whole thing with the poodles was getting too much.

In a lighthearted tone, Noodles , guitarist for The Offspring , left a comment on the post saying, "But you PROMISED!", referring to reason number 3 on the list.
