Tarja Turunen's live album will be released on July 27th
Tarja Turunen , former vocalist of the Finnish band Nightwish and now pursuing a solo career, has released the video for the song "Victim Of Ritual," recorded live at the Woodstock festival in Poland. The video is part of the album Act II .
The Shadow Shows world tour , where the singer performed over 200 shows in 40 different countries, Act II combines two live performances: The first, Metropolis Alive , was filmed in London, where the singer performed unreleased songs for the first time in front of 20 fans, and the second part, which was recorded on November 29, 2016, at the Teatro Della Luna Allago in Milan, Italy, and includes numerous hits such as “Innocence”, “Die Alive”, “Until My Last Breath” and a cover of Muse , as well as a medley with Nightwish's “Ever Dream”, “Slaying The Dreamer” and “The Riddler”.
Act II will be released on July 27th by earMusic as a double CD digipak, vinyl, DVD, Blu-ray and mediabook, which includes performances at the Hellfest festival in France and Woodstock in Poland.
Act I , the singer's first live release, reached the Top 10 across Europe. The video version remained at the top of the Finnish music video charts for over two months.
Tarja Turunen will be coming to Brazil between August and September for shows in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Belo Horizonte/MG, Vila Velha/ES, Manaus/AM, São Paulo/SP and Brasília/DF.
