The album will be released later this year
Former Nightwish vocalist Tarja Turunen has revealed details of her new album, From Spirits and Ghosts (Score for a Dark Christmas).
Featuring twelve tracks, the album brings a darker side to Christmas, with an orchestra accompanying the singer's powerful voice.
“In this album, I explore the other side of Christmas – the Christmas of lonely people, the Christmas of those who don’t see happiness in lights and jingle bells ,” explains Tarja.
The album is produced by Jim Dooley and Tim Palmer and is scheduled for release on November 17th.
