Chester Bennington 's 45th birthday . The posthumous Linkin Park marked a generation with his smooth yet powerful voice and passed away by suicide in 2017, after a long journey related to his mental health.
Chester's passing affected not only a legion of fans, but also his closest friends and family. On the singer's birthday, his widow, Talinda Bennington, shared a touching tribute to her late husband.
On her Instagram , Talinda posted an old video of Chester dancing and having fun alongside their son Tyler. In the caption, she wrote: “Happy birthday. You would be 45 years old and, yes, Tyler would make you dance like this again! This life without you never gets easier or less painful. We miss you so much. We will celebrate you in so many ways today… Tyler teaching me and the girls to dance will be just one of them. We love you forever.” You can see the post at the end of this publication.
In total, Chester Bennington left six children. Tyler (15) and twins Lily and Lila (9) are from his relationship with Talinda Bentley, while Draven (18) is from his first marriage, with Samantha Marie Olit. Jamie (24), his eldest son, was born from his relationship with Elka Band and in 2006 the singer adopted his son Isaiah (23).
