The band, composed of Serj Tankian , Daron Malakian , Shavo Odadjian , and John Dolmayan, performed their first show of 2024. System Of a Down headlined the night of Saturday the 27th, during the Sick New World , which takes place annually in Las Vegas, United States. The group's last show was about 11 months ago, at the 2023 edition of the same festival.
With a setlist of 27 songs, the band provided the crowd with a selection of their greatest hits. “BYOB”, “Psycho”, “Chop Suey!” and “Aerials” ignited the audience, thanks to the band's explosiveness and, especially, the energy and stage presence of vocalist Serj Tankian.
Furthermore, those in attendance had the opportunity to experience live performances of tracks such as "Bubbles" and "CUBErt," which were played for the first time in almost a decade.
