Guitarist Daron Malakian and bassist Shavo Odadjian , from System of a Down , went to Allianz Parque stadium on Monday night, the 12th, to watch the football game.
While enjoying their days off in São Paulo, the group decided to watch the match between Santos and Ceará, valid for the eighth round of the Brasileirão.
The game took place at the same venue where the band performed two sold-out of shows, setting Allianz Parque ablaze.
Daron was not only in the stands on the Santos side, but he also shared the excitement with a video on his social media: “You have to watch a live football game in Brazil. Especially if you sold out the same stadium two nights in a row!!!”
Shavo was also present at the stadium and appeared in a photo posted on Santos Futebol Clube's social media shortly after the game. The bassist is pictured alongside Paulo Xisto of Sepultura and Pepe , a two-time World Cup winner with the Brazilian national team and one of the club's greatest idols.
