System of a Down has more plans for their 2025 tour. The band wants to make each show unique, with setlists that will undergo "drastic" changes at each performance.
Bassist Shavo Odadjian revealed in an interview with SNSMix.com that fans can expect "a lot of music and a lot of passion" at these performances, which he describes as a rare and special event.
"We'll have more shows this year than in the last seven years together," said Odadjian, raising expectations for what the band will bring to the stage.
Inspired by Metallica 's M72 , System of a Down promises to innovate by completely changing the setlists between shows.
"We'll probably change the setup drastically between each one, so if you go to both shows, you'll hear different music," the bassist confirmed.
“We’re going to play two-hour sets. We have over 70 songs, but we’ll play 30 of them—maybe 27 to 30 songs—and we’ll mix and match. We’re going to rehearse a lot so we can learn a lot and then we can switch songs between sets all the time, not play the same thing repeatedly.”
Despite previous challenges regarding the touring schedule, Odadjian expressed his enthusiasm for performing more shows.
