The band will return to the stage in October of this year.
Over the past three days, System Of A Down has been posting cryptic images on their social media, testing the anxiety of their fans.
Last Friday, the 6th, the band shared a strange photo of three people playing on a beach with the caption: “THREE” . The following day, the band posted the same image with the addition of some elements and the caption “TWO” , and on Sunday they repeated the dose with the description saying “ONE” .
In addition to the mysterious images and captions, SOAD also added a hashtag to each photo, with the last one hinting that the band would be back later this year: "#soad2018 #letsdoit".
Now, the band has just announced that they will be back, but not in the way fans expected. The group will take to the stage again in October of this year, performing in the states of California, Arizona, and Nevada. Check the dates by clicking here.
System Of A Down released their last work in 2005 with the double album Mezmerize/Hypnotize , and since then the group has only reunited to perform a few shows. However, lately each member has been pursuing their solo projects with no news about a new album from the band.
