The progressive metal band Symphony X returns to Latin America in 2020 with its special tour celebrating 25 years of career and will perform at Tropical Butantã, a traditional São Paulo concert venue, on August 29th. It will be a unique moment for all fans: the setlist will bring together the greatest hits from the American band's career.
To kick off this very special night, the Brazilian power metal band Trend Kill Ghosts , formed in Guarulhos, was chosen to perform before Symphony X took the stage. The group consists of four friends: Diogo Nunes (vocals), Rogério Oliveira (guitar), Danilo Perez (bass), and Leandro Tristane (drums) , who came together to deliver a message through music to inspire people to slay their ghosts and pursue their goals.
Formed in 2018, the band Trend Kill Ghosts has already released a song featuring Ralf Scheepers , vocalist of the German band Primal Fear, on the track "Ghosts Revolution," which can be found on the 2019 album "Kill Your Ghosts." Meanwhile, the majestic Symphony X, currently composed of Russel Allen (vocals), Michael Romeo (guitar), Michael Pinnella (keyboards), Michael LePond (bass), and Jason Rullo (drums), continues to deliver a progressive metal sound that makes the band one of the biggest in its genre worldwide, appreciated by thousands of fans.
