So that’s where my head is at the moment, working on that. And then, of course, getting ready for the upcoming tours.”
Sweet Oblivion 's self-titled debut album , released in 2019 by Frontiers Music Srl, featured collaborations with Italian musicians, while Relentless arrived in 2021, produced by Aldo Lonobile . Tate is also known for his solo albums and works such as Operation: Mindcrime (1988).
In February 2023, the musician had already mentioned a new solo album that was almost finished, without providing details about the musical direction or record label.
Amicable Settlement: Geoff Tate and Queensrÿche End Legal Dispute in 2014
Tate and Queensrÿche announced they had reached a settlement in April 2014, two years after he was fired in 2012, in which the singer claimed the rights to the Queensrÿche name. Tate was replaced by former Crimson Glory vocalist Todd La Torre .
