New Blood contest
To participate in the contest, the band must choose the best video, whether it's a studio recording, a lyric video, or a live performance of their best song, and submit it to the event's curatorial team, which will consist of experienced figures in the music scene.
Between March 11th and 26th, the band must send an email to [email protected] including the band's name in the subject line. The body of the email must contain the following information:
- The band's name;
- City, state, and country;
- Musical style that fits;
- A brief summary in just three lines;
- Link to the band's video available on YouTube;
- A photo that does not exceed 1MB.
From all the material received, ten bands/artists will be pre-selected. After the pre-selection, the Summer Breeze will announce which bands were selected, and fans will be able to vote for the ten selected bands/artists there. The band/artist with the most votes will perform at the Summer Breeze Festival in April 2024 at the Memorial da América Latina .
This is an initiative of Summer Breeze Open Air Brazil to encourage and promote new bands. Therefore, the event will not accept cover versions as material.
The winning band will be announced on April 17th on the festival's official Instagram .
