Summer Breeze Brazil revealed the first acts for its 2024 edition in the early hours of Saturday, the 19th. The German-origin festival will be held for the second time in the country in April of next year, in São Paulo.
In the highly anticipated announcement, the event confirmed three international acts: Within Temptation , Amorphis , and Eclipse . Additionally, Angra is also confirmed for the event.
Of the bands already confirmed, three will release new albums in 2023: Eclipse will release the album Megalomanium on September 1st, Within Temptation announced Bleed Out for October 20th, and Angra will release Cycles of Pain on November 3rd.
In a poll conducted by Wikimetal , the names most requested by the public for the festival's lineup are Rammstein and Megadeth. Although there has been no official indication from the event organizers regarding the possibility of these bands being announced, fans suspect Megadeth's appearance at the festival after Dave Mustaine confirmed plans to tour South America in April of next year.
This time, Summer Breeze Brasil 2024 will be longer and will take place on April 26, 27 and 28, from Friday to Sunday, once again at the Memorial da América Latina. The organization promises to announce "many more" news soon.
To date, no new information has been released regarding ticket sales for Summer Breeze 2024. In May, the public had access to two batches of pre-sale tickets in the style of "Blind Tickets ," even before the confirmation of the first acts.
