The band released "Cat Fight (Over a Dog Like Me)" to accompany the album announcement 40

The legendary band Stray Cats has announced their return and their first album of new material in 26 years. 40 will be released on May 24th and will celebrate the group's four decades of rockabilly.

To accompany the announcement, the group released "Cat Fight (Over a Dog Like Me)," their first single since Original Cool , their last album of new material, released in 1993.

40 was produced alongside Peter Collins ( Rush, Bon Jovi, the Brian Setzer Orchestra ) in Nashville, Tennessee. According to Lee Rocker , the album will have the same energy and sound as the group's self-titled debut album.

Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker , and Slim Jim Phantom have also revealed that they will be doing a commemorative tour of the United States. Listen to “Cat Fight (Over a Dog Like Me)” below.
