Stranger Things premiered its highly anticipated 5th and final season last Wednesday, the 26th, and once again, the Netflix made a lot of noise on the internet, bringing popularity back to classic 80s rock songs.
Through social media, Legacy Recordings announced the arrival of the official soundtrack for Stranger Things 5. Sony Music label confirmed that the soundtrack will be sold on vinyl, CD, and cassette. A compilation from WSQK (a fictional Hawkins radio station that will be a major focus in the series) was also released on vinyl in the US, featuring pop, punk, and new wave hits – and giving a glimpse of what we can expect in the new season.
The series is responsible for reviving great classics, such as Metallica , which played a key role in the season 4 finale Kate Bush 's hit "Running Up That Hill," Journey 's "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" led the soundtrack.
The full tracklist is scheduled for January 30, 2026, however, some songs already appear in the first four episodes of the final season of Stranger Things WSQK radio compilation . Check it out below:
