For those who still had doubts, the actor who plays Eddie has learned to play the entire section of the song that was adapted for the Netflix . In the video, you can see Quinn practicing with the edited version of "Master of Puppets" playing in the background, just as it would be used in the episode.
The success of the final scene was so great that Metallica received a boost of 17.5 million streams for "Master of Puppets" last week, placing the track on Billboard's Hot 100 for the first time.
The band itself has already expressed its delight Stranger Things soundtrack , saying it's a "great honor" to be part of a crucial moment in Eddie's arc. Later, they even recorded a duet for TikTok where they appear playing alongside the beloved character.
