The release will succeed the self-titled one from 2018.
Jeff Gutt , vocalist for Stone Temple Pilots , revealed during an interview that the band is preparing to release an acoustic album.
According to the musician, the album will feature special appearances by other artists in addition to "some extra material." He also said that the band is in the songwriting process, but that "it will be incredible."
The news comes shortly after the band's visit to Brazil alongside Alice in Chains . This was Stone Temple Pilots' first tour with Gutt.
There is still no release date set for the acoustic album that will follow the self-titled one released in March 2018.
