Stone Temple Pilots have released a cover of the Beach Boys originally recorded in 1994. The cover will be officially released on the deluxe edition of Purple, in celebration of the album's 25th anniversary.
This version replaces the Beach Boys' harmony with a simple and moving vocal performance by Scott Weiland Purple album sessions and will therefore be included in this release. In addition to "She Knows Me Too Well," the new version of the album will also feature other recordings, demos, and acoustic sessions.
The deluxe version of Purple will be released on October 18th. In the meantime, listen to the band's cover below.
