Stone Temple Pilots cancels 5 remaining tour dates with Halestorm.

The band had to withdraw from the lineup due to a case of COVID-19.

Last Tuesday, the 24th, Stone Temple Pilots announced the cancellation of 5 shows on their tour with Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry . According to the band, the reason is that a member of their crew tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, they wrote: “During routine COVID-19 testing, we discovered that a member of our crew tested positive. Out of an abundance of caution, we regret to cancel the remainder of our shows with Halestorm. The 5 dates are Evansville, Tulsa, Deadwood, Moorhead, and Missoula. Halestorm and Black Stone Cherry will still perform.”

Stone Temple Pilots thanked everyone who had come to see them live, "especially Halestorm," and promised to return to the stage as soon as possible.

This is the second time the band has cancelled shows on tour due to a COVID-19 case in their crew, the first time having occurred at the end of 2021.
