Johny Chow spoke about Stone Sour's next album

Bassist Johny Chow confirmed that Stone Sour has already begun the writing process for the band's next album.

“We’re always writing, we’re always composing riffs, we’re always improvising,” he said. “When we’re on the road, there’s a bass in the dressing room all the time. Same with guitarists Tucc and Josh . Suddenly you’re improvising something and it sounds cool. Then we start playing together and recording the ideas on our phones.”

“I know Tucc has a ton of ideas; I already have a ton of ideas,” he continued. “Josh has ideas. Roy is inventing crazy things with the keyboard and synthesizers.”.

Chow also highlighted the musical chemistry between him and his bandmates, saying that it's not something common.

“It’s really cool when you have that magic with other musicians,” he commented. “It’s one thing when you play with a band and you just play. It’s another thing to have that connection. It’s like a connection. I know where Roy is going, he knows where I’m going. And we go together. That becomes apparent.”
