Stone Sour has released a demo version of the track "Through Glass," originally featured on the band's 2006 album, Come What(ever) May .
Regarding the release of the cover version, guitarist Josh Rand wrote in the announcement, “In 2005, Corey [Taylor] recorded 4 acoustic songs at Shawn [Economaki] . 'Through Glass' was the only one of the four that ended up on 'Come What (ever) May'. ['Through Glass'] went to number 1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock and stayed there for 8 weeks. It reached number 2 on the alternative charts and even made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006.”
The demo was released while the band is on hiatus, and there are no plans to release new music.
