Josh Rand talks about Nickelback.
Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand was asked in an interview with an American radio station about recent comments by Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger that Stone Sour is a "light" version of Nickelback .
Rand said he didn't mean to insult the vocalist, explaining that Kroeger was probably intoxicated during the interview: “It doesn't make sense for me to insult Chad. It's obvious he was drinking during the entire interview.”
He continued: “I don't know why… He said we're Nickelback Light… I don't know how to respond to that. This is basically the ultimate insult someone can make. How can I…? I don't know what to say.”
From what I understood, the interviewer was saying how versatile his band was, and the interviewer mentioned us, and Chad kind of freaked out. That's life.
Vocalist Corey Taylor, the main target of Chad Kroeger's criticism, responded to the comments last Tuesday, saying that Kroeger has a "foot face ."
