Sting and Raoni Metuktire share similar ideals regarding environmental issues and the protection of indigenous peoples.

Their partnership is long-standing, dating back to the 1980s, when they worked together on a world tour to raise awareness about deforestation and the problems faced by indigenous peoples.

This action was responsible for raising more than 1 million dollars, which was used for the demarcation of the Xingu reserve ( via O Globo ).

Sting also created the Rainforest Foundation, which has a number of projects, including those focused on the Xingu lands ( via Estadão ).

In 2023, the artist once again spoke out in favor of the Chief, after a meeting with 54 indigenous leaders to discuss, among other topics, the temporal framework.

Sting in Brazil

The Sting 3.0 will pass through three Brazilian cities, starting in Rio de Janeiro on February 14th (Farmasi Arena), continuing to São Paulo on February 16th (Ibirapuera Park) and ending in Curitiba on February 18th (Pedreira Paulo Leminski).

Sales will take place through the Ticketmaster , and tickets are already available.

Currently, the musician is accompanied by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas .
