The track was originally released in 2013 and has been given a new version featuring the Fleetwood Mac vocalist.

Country singer LeAnn Rimes will release today, the 20th, the EP Re-Imagined , which features some re-recordings of her tracks. For "Borrowed," originally recorded for the album Spitfire Fleetwood Mac singer Steve Nicks .

According to Nicks, the duet is something she had been hoping to happen for a while and she felt honored to be a part of the project. “When I first heard the song, I understood what she was singing about. I understood that the pain was real… And I understood that it had happened to me. When I finished listening, I called my assistant and said that one day I would sing this song with LeAnn. It was destiny,” said the singer.

“Working with Nicks is a dream come true,” reveals Rimes, who rose to fame in 1996 when she was just 16 years old, “Stevie has inspired me for as long as I can remember. I learned so much from her and this experience was magical.”
