Tyler created Janie's Fund
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler donated one of the cars from his collection to an auction that raised $800,000 for charity. The money will be donated to Janie's Fund, an organization created by Tyler in partnership with Youth Village, which helps girls who are victims of abuse.
Tyler commented: "Today we raised enough to provide 20,000 days of therapeutic support for girls who have suffered abuse in America.".
Along with the car, Tyler gifted the buyer a guitar autographed by Aerosmith and a week at his vacation home in Hawaii.
The 2012 Hennessey Venom GT is considered a relic, with only 12 having been produced.
