Perry had heart complications.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler told Billboard that he is concerned about the health of guitarist Joe Perry, who suffered heart problems at a Hollywood Vampires concert earlier this week.
The vocalist told the magazine that he hasn't been able to contact Perry since his hospitalization on the 10th. When asked if Joe Perry will be able to join the band for the South American tour starting in September, Tyler replied:
“I’m not very worried about the band. I want Joe alive. I’m really worried because I’m not getting any news. I’m a little upset and it scares me. I don’t know if it’s the heat, or if he’s been working too hard, or investing in the wrong things. I don’t know what it is, but nobody is telling me anything. I can only say that Joe is my brother and I love him very much.”
Aerosmith will be coming to Brazil in October.
