Korean singer says he's a fan of Aerosmith

Aerosmith 's frontman and vocalist Steven Tyler is recording with Psy, the Korean singer behind the worldwide mega-hit, Gangnam Style.

According to Metal Hammer magazine, Psy claims to be a big fan of rock icons, which would justify the collaborative work that is being developed.

“When I was in school, I literally cried when I heard Crazy or Amazing or any Aerosmith song,” Psy says in an interview with L'Uomo Vogue. “They were role models, and now to be able to work with Steven Tyler? I love my life ,” the Korean artist concludes.

Aerosmith had already collaborated with Run DMC on a cover of "Walk This Way" in 1986, exploring the blending of other styles with rock.

The band will perform on October 20th at Monsters Of Rock 2013 in São Paulo.
